Exploring Grieg's songs exemplifying Norwegian national romanticism and patriotism through his music and poetry of Paulson, Bjørnson and others. Alan and Knut Erik will perform the epic “Mountain Thrall” (Bergtekne) as well as songs about the Fatherland, elections, Norwegian heroes and common folk and the love for the Norwegian land and people. Enjoy an afternoon of Grieg's seldom heard works as well as incredibly dramatic songs by two specialists of Norwegian song repertoire.
