It's a book fair inspired by a beloved Icelandic tradition because the "Christmas Book Flood" or Jólabókaflóðið marks the high publishing season in Iceland. Gifted books are exchanged on Christmas Eve to be read all through the night leading up to Christmas Day.
Portland will celebrate a few days late with a collection of local authors, refreshments and holiday fun! Book donations will also be accepted to be gifted to a local charity.
