Swedish fiddle workshops

The American Swedish Institute Spelmanslag (fiddle club) will sponsor a special opportunity for stringed instrument players to come and learn traditional Swedish fiddle tunes. Though this workshop especially targets young fiddlers, there is no age requirement and fiddlers young at heart and willing to learn are also welcome. We will learn a new tune each week as well as the history of the music.

Sundays: October 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29 at 1- 3 p.m.

Registration encouraged but not mandatory.
