Join us for a unique opportunity to learn how three of Silicon Valley’s leading organizations nurture entrepreneurship and grow new startups to exploit major business opportunities they have identified.
Senior executives from the following organizations will describe some of their corporate entrepreneurship programs and processes, issues, trends, opportunities and challenges: SRI International (which Business Week once described in the following way “SRI is Silicon Valley’s soul. It was… and is the foundation for the Valley’s seething climate of innovation.”), IBM (celebrating its 100 year anniversary and still one of the world’s leading companies, with extensive research and internal entrepreneurial activity), and Cisco (one of Silicon Valley’s leading technology firms known for its aggressive growth strategy that includes both acquisitions and incubating new firms that target key growth markets).
This event is organized by the Special Interest Group (SIG) on Entrepreneurship and Learning of Silicon Vikings.
