Summer Jazz: Sigmar Matthíasson Trio

Jazz returns to Scandinavia House this summer with six Thursday evening performances from some of Scandinavia’s most talented young musicians, composers, and singers. Purchase a series pass to all six concerts for just $60 ($40 ASF Members). All concerts feature a pre-concert reception on the Scandinavia House terrace starting at 6 PM.

This multi-national trio—Sigmar Matthíasson (Iceland) on bass, Taulant Mehmeti (Kosovo) on guitar, and Ayman Boujlida (Tunisia) on drums—will play original music by all members of the band, influenced by the folk music of their home countries.
