Greta Garbo Rarities (75 mins):
These rarely screened 35mm film fragments, commercials, and newsreels from the archives of the Swedish Film Institute depict Greta Garbo at various points throughout her career. Guest presenter Jon Wengström, who will receive an award for his exceptional work as a film archivist from the San Francisco Silent Film Festival (May 31–June 3), offers context for the works. Wengström is curator of the archival film collections at the Svenska Filminstitutet, Stockholm.
