An Evening of Nordic Music with Sunniva Brynnel and Sara Pajunen

Enjoy traditional Swedish and Finnish folk tunes - with a bit of a twist - in this special Pop Up Concert featuring musicians Sunniva Brynnel and Sara Pajunen whose new and innovative approaches to Nordic music will have you enthralled!

Sara is a violinist and composer of Finnish descent and has recently completed a degree in contemporary improvisation from New England Conservatory. She has released a number of recordings that relate to her Finnish ancestry. The Finlandia Foundation National named Sara the 2015 Performer of the Year.
Sunniva, a Swedish vocalist, accordionist and composer, comes from 7 generations of female musicians! She has studied her craft in many parts of the world and most recently completed an advanced degree in jazz performance at New England Conservatory. Like Sara, Sunniva is involved in a number of performance and recording projects.
