Our popular Summer Jazz Series returns to Scandinavia House!
This summer we’re presenting performances from some of Scandinavia's most talented young jazz musicians, composers and singers from June 20 through July 11. Join us for a reception on the Volvo Hall terrace starting at 7 p.m., followed by the concert at 7:30 p.m.
Icelandic bassist and composer Sigmar Matthíasson and fellow performers deliver a mixture of powerful and lyrical music by combining jazz with different genres. At this performance, the group will be performing music from Matthíasson's debut solo album Áróra (September 2018) as well as brand new compositions.
