The Nordic Consulates in Chicago invite you to an hour of thought-provoking information presented by a panel of guest speakers about how the five Nordic countries have performed well in country-by-country comparisons and are known for their happiness, equality and a sustainable lifestyle. Family friendly policies, such as parental leave, free education and free health care for all contribute to positive economic outcomes such as high rate of employment, high percentage of women in leadership roles, health and longevity. All of these factors helped ensure a continued high work force participation during the pandemic.
