Scand30 Lecture Series: Sex After Sin in Scandinavia with Professor Olivia Gunn. In the 20th century, Americans were shocked by graphic Swedish films and feared the consequences of socialism’s permissive attitude toward sex.

This talk explores sexuality in the 21st century in Scandinavia, asking: What’s new? And have they moved beyond sin?

Short, snappy, entertaining: Scand30 is a series of free, thirty-minute talks by UW Scandinavian Studies faculty the second Thursday of every month at 7:00PM at the Nordic Museum. The talks will tell you what you really need to know about Scandinavia to understand it.

Cost: Free, donations welcome
