Abba's album 'Gold'

A British bestseller and third most sold album in England's history.

  • Abba’s collection album “Gold” is the third most sold album in England's history. This according to a newly compiled chart for the BBC by the Official Charts Company. Topping the chart is Queen’s “Greatest Hits,” the best-selling album of all time in the UK, which has sold a total of 5.8 million copies, and its nearest rival being The Beatles’ “Sgt. Pepper” album, with sales of 5 million. Abba’s “Gold,” released in 1992, sold 4.9 million, and included the hits: “Dancing Queen,” “Mamma Mia,” “I Have a Dream,” “The Winner Takes It All” and “Money, Money, Money.”
