Swedish film director Jan Troell (famous mostly for his films "The Emigrants" and "The New Land") will have his new film "Dom över död man” (Doom over a dead man) premiere at the Montreal World Film Festival, which will take place in August/September. The news was delivered during a press conference arranged by the festival. “I was very happy when being told the film was coming to Montreal,” says Troell. “It’s like a confirmation that the film has a chance to reach an audience. The people who picked the film are the first outsiders to have seen it, and they obviously liked it.” “Dom över död man” is a film about Torgny Segerstedt, editor-in-chief for Göteborgs Handels- och sjöfartstidning during WW2, and his fight against the Nazi regime in Germany.
