Efva Attling in New York

One of Sweden’s best-known designers and silversmiths, Efva Attling, has opened a new concept store in the heart of the Meatpacking district in Manhattan.

  "It takes a village" - in this case to open a store east of The Village, in the fashionable Meatpacking district.

• Efva Attling is far from new to the jewelry business, but she is new to operating under her own umbrella in New York. It was a dream come true on the opening night, which coincided with Fashion’s Night Out and made the champagne flow.

  Pick a glass and let the Champagne flow...

• “I'm so exited. Open this store is one of the biggest things I've ever done. My whole body tingles and knowing everyone’s expectations is nerve-racking, but it's as it should be. Tonight I will just enjoy”, the Swedish jewelry designer said.

  Many of the guests were friends to the coveted silversmith. Everyone wanted a chat and pictures with her.

• Efva Attling has six concept stores in Scandinavia, as well as over two hundred retailers around the world. The new store is located at 36 Little West 12th Street.
