Ice cream social at the Park

Meet & Mingle over [lots of] ice cream at the lovely Vasa Park in South Meriden, Conn.

• The Connecticut Vasa Order of America will hold an old-fashioned Ice Cream Festival on Sunday, July 20, 2:00 to 4:00 P.M at "our" park: Vasa Park, 358 Main St. Meriden, CT. Park Admission $ 2.00 under 12 free. Ice Cream (all you can eat): $ 8.00. Children 5 – 12: $ 5.00, under 5 free.

• Bring your favorite board game or a deck of cards. Park wide bingo with prizes (NOT only ice cream!) will be played

• Meriden and the park is just under an hour from for instance Stamford, Conn. Going north on Merrit take Exit 66 to North Colony Rd south (left); then west on Church Street (right); to north Hanover St. (2nd right after passing under Merrit) which turns into Evansville Ave. that ends on Main Street; make a left onto Main; the park is half a mile away on your left.
