• SACC-New York’s ever-popular Christmas Luncheon and Lucia Celebration was a sold-out affair with almost 400 guests gathered at The Pierre on December 2.
  At the event, the annual SACC-New York Member of the Year Award was given to acknowledge and celebrate a member who has contributed significantly to the Chamber’s future success and growth. This year’s recipient was Marcus Samuelsson, acclaimed chef, philanthropist and New York Times bestselling author.
  “For more than two decades, Marcus has been a longstanding friend and a great supporter of the Chamber, and we are proud and delighted to present him with this year’s Member of the Year Award,” said SACC-New York president Renée Lundholm. “His generous and outstanding involvement in the Chamber’s activities, especially the Green Summit, has been invaluable and greatly appreciated. Undoubtedly, his fine involvement has been a significant contributor to the success of the events.”
