Last year 12 percent of consumers bought their food online and the turnover increased by 40 percent, according to a new report from Svensk Handel. The most popular food items to buy online are dry goods, fruit, vegetables and pre-packaged meals. Online food shopping turned over 1.5 million SEK ($241,007.89) last year. Svensk Handel polled 1000 consumers and businesses.
