Starbucks to Goteborg and Malmo
Good news for all coffee lovers in Sweden? Starbucks, the coffeehouse chain based in Seattle, WA, is coming to Göteborg and Malmö. The largest coffeehouse company in the world, Starbucks has over 17,000 stores in 50 countries.
The chain first opened its doors in Sweden in 2010, at Arlanda Airport in Stockholm. In Göteborg and Malmö, Sweden’s second and third cities, Starbucks will be found at the central train stations – perfect for when you need a picker-upper before or after a train ride.
Starbucks is opening in Göteborg and Malmö (in both cities at the main railway stations). Starbucks first opened in Seattle, WA, in 1971 by two teachers and a writer who were inspired to sell high-quality coffee beans and equipment. They took the name Starbucks from the novel “Moby-Dick”.
