Late summer drinks with a taste of Sweden

Elderberries, lemon and ..gloegg based. (Yes, it's still summer!)

    Pour about 1/2 oz of Elderflower Drink concentrate into a glas and add sparkling wine such as your favorite Prosecco (elderberry is so good, it works equally well with seltzer. Well ..almost.), or make an

  • Elderberry Margarita
    Pour all below over ice in a Highball glass with sugar coated rim
    1 1/2 oz. Tequila
    1 oz Elderflower Drink concentrate
    1/2 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
    top off with Sprite or 7-up
    Add a slice of lemon for garnish

  • And now, something completely different, a Glögg gimlet:
    Here’s a bit of a shocking ingredient for a summer drink for a Swede; a glögg based gimlet with your favorite gin and the recently introduced 1887 Glögg based in California.
    1 part Geijer Glögg liqueur
    1 part Gin
    1/2 Part Fresh Lime
    1/4 Part Simple Syrup
