Hottest summer job?

Feel like becoming a CEO for the summer? How about a monthly salary of 100,000 SEK ($15,832)? A Swedish HR company may be the answer...

  • Says Adecco’s CEO Per-Arne Gulbrandsen about finding a summer substitute: “The person in question has to be able to see the world from a helicopter perspective, be able to keep his head cool and to have the integrity to take—and go through with—unpopular decisions. A successful leadership takes qualities and characterstics that are difficult to trace to a specific education.”
  • If you are the right person, then you can apply as substitute CEO for the summer at Adecco Sweden (according to their international website they are the world’s leading provider of HR solutions).

  • Feel like becoming a CEO for the summer? How about a monthly salary of 100,000 SEK ($15,832)?
  • “The salary is not what’s most important,” says Adecco’s CEO Per-Arne Gulbrandsen in a press release. “Rather the possibility to try the job and get experiences you can bring with you in your future career.”

  • The applicant must be a university or college student. Study direction does not matter, but leadership talent does. A monthly salary that big entails responsibility however, and during your summer you will have to make your own decisions and lead the company even though the regular CEO will be there as a support.
