SAS – 'always' on time

Best news for frequent SAS travelers to Scandinavia in a long time. And, in another 6-7 months the airline will be on time in new planes.

  • The advice on unnecessary travel in Sweden, which applies until July 15, 2020, is not 'a final date' according to State Epidemiologist Anders Tegnell.
  • SAS – always on time. Well, not always, but more often than other airlines, at least during the month April. This according to a report from Flightstats, which shows that 91.3% of SAS’ departures during the month of April landed at their destinations on time. The worst airline when it came to arriving on time during that same month, was Etihad (United Arab Emirates' carrier), where only 48.25% of the flights arrived on time.
Certainly good news for the few SAS loyalists sticking it out. The good news will continue early next year as the airline introduces airplanes on intercontinental routes. Eight new Airbus A350 and four A330 with more comfort, less noise and the latest systems technologies.
