Bay Area Achievement Awards:
Nominations for the 2011 Bay Area Achievement Awards are now open. In business, culture or outstanding woman - nominate now: visit SACC-SF/SV The Achievement Awards, founded in 2010 by the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce, acknowledges and highlights the Swedish presence in the Bay Area by awarding the successful achievers and local contributors that are promoting the links between Sweden and the U.S.
Last year’s gala featured a classical dance performance, live music, an exclusively prepared three course Swedish menu and dancing.

New for 2011 is the Women’s Achievement Award which recognizes a female of outstanding ability in her chosen field with a dedication to mentoring and empowering others.

Nominations are currently being accepted for all three areas: The Business Achievement Award, The Cultural Achievement Award and the Women’s Achievement Award. Nominations are free of charge, and anyone can nominate a candidate. You can submit one or multiple nominations, or nominate yourself at Make sure to vote!
