The exhibition The Enduring Designs of Josef Frank, opens Friday, December 2 at the Nordic Heritage Museum, Seattle.

Austrian-born designer and architect Josef Frank (1885 1967) is considered a leading pioneer of Swedish Modern design. Emphasizing comfort and informality, often producing whimsical designs inspired by nature, Frank chose a different direction than the severe approach to modernism taken by many of his contemporaries.

Life Made Sweder

The exhibition runs through Sunday, February 19, 2012.
