  Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven has made 25 foreign trips in his first six months in office. Here speaking on the Nordic Model at NYU

• Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven visited the U.S. this week for the first time since his election. He was in New York to attend a United Nations meeting in connection with the 25th anniversary of the Unicef Convention on the Rights of the Child, an international human rights treaty designed to protect children around the world.
  He gave a lecture on the Nordic Model at NYU and met with Hillary Clinton, with whom he discussed the Middle East and climate change, and to whom he presented a diploma and doctor's hat, insignias of an honorary doctorate in medicine that she was awarded in 2007 by the University of Gothenburg. Löfven held talks with the United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon.
