Royal Inspiration

Glamour magazine inspired by H.R.H. Princess Madeleine of Sweden.

  • "I like World Childhood Foundation because it is a small organization, and therefore flexible and hands-on.…"
  • The American lifestyle magazine, Glamour, couldn’t help but share Princess Madeleine’s inspiring story in their February issue. The article gives a little history on why she supports Childhood USA, with hope for inspiring more people around the world to help children at risk of abuse and exploitation. Princess Madeleine, 32, traveled to Ukraine with her mother, Queen Silvia, when the princess was in her early 20s. There they met young women who'd been sexually trafficked — and the experience changed Madeleine’s life. Together with the Queen, she established the World Childhood Foundation to help protect the millions of kids who are sexually exploited and abused each year. Their foundation has also supported over 600 projects, including 23 in the U.S., to help survivors and teach kids how to stay safe. www.childhood.org.
