  • Swedish Quality Award is the most prestigious of its kind and is awarded to organizations that demonstrate visible results of successful quality work. The award is intended to support the development of systematic improvement at the organizational level and highlight role models to inspire others, in both the private and public sectors.

  • SIQ primarily awards the Swedish Quality Award. In some cases recognition for successful business development is awarded to organizations that are well on track in their quality work. This year two organizations were recognized: Condorens Preschools in Nacka and the Universeum Science Centre in Gothenburg.

  • “It is gratifying that the Swedish Quality Award 2015 was assigned to an international player such as Volvo Car Group … an organization that uses Business Excellence as a management philosophy, which through its systematic quality work have been able to develop the organization’s approach to achieve world class. Volvo Car Group exemplifies the effects of successful quality work and is an inspiration for more organizations to develop with the support of quality,” said Jan Sundling, chairman of the SIQ.
