• Edvard Persson (1888-1957), Swedish actor and singer, was born in Malmö. He got his first role in the 1923 silent film "Studenterna på Tröstehult". Persson made 45 feature films, among them were "Söder om landsvägen" and "Kalle på Spången". He's probably best remembered for his song "Jag är en liten gåsapåg från Skåne."
