  • The Fotografiska is indeed a marvelous adventure to visit and a great experience but, rightfully so, more international than solidly Swedish.

  • Sections of how the old city looked have been preserved at Skansen..
  • Kosta Boda Art Hotel in the Kingdom of Chrystal, Småland proves without a doubt there are really no limits as to what you can do and experience with glass.

  • Astrid Lindgrens Värld, the World of Astrid Lindgren is a full day for families with young children, also, as the Kosta Boda Art Hotel, in the Småland region.

  • Kungsleden ("The King's Trail") is a hiking trail in northern Sweden, approximately 440-kilometre (270 mi) long, between Abisko in the north and Hemavan in the south. It passes through one of Europe's largest remaining wilderness areas.

  • Astrid Lindgrens Värld - the world of Astrid Lindgren, like the Kosta Boda Hotel in Småland and well worth a visit.
  • Junibacken, close to the Vasamuseum on Djurgården is a fantasy playhouse where you get to meet many of the famous Swedish children's books' characters.

  • You won't find this everywhere: Kungsleden ("The King's Trail") is a hiking trail in northern Sweden.
  • All of these facets of Sweden are interesting, fascinating and/or fun. And yet our vote goes to the open-air museum Skansen on Djurgården, accessible, year-round alive with activities for the entire family and a mere walk or tram station from Stockholm's city center...
