More working immigrants

There's a new trend in the immigration to Sweden: Labor immigration is increasing, while the number of refugees is decreasing after a peak in 2006.

  There's a new trend in the immigration to Sweden: Labor immigration is increasing, while the number of refugees is decreasing after a peak in 2006.
  The change has much to do with a law regarding immigrating workers, a law that was introduced in 2008. Sweden is one of the world's most generous countries when it comes to receiving immigrants from non-European Union countries. In accordance with the 2008 law, there’s no need for an authority to check if there’s a need for extra labor. Immigration in total has decreased since 2010.
