Happy Birthday, Victoria!

Victoriadagen is extra special this year, celebrated throughout the weekend of July 14-15.

• The Royal Palace released new photos of H.K.H Crown Princess Victoria in anticipation of the celebration of her 40th birthday. Born on July 14, 1977, Victoria Ingrid Alice Désirée is the eldest child of the King and Queen of Sweden and heir to the throne.
  A weekend of public and private celebrating is planned for Friday, July 14 and Saturday, July 15. After a service of thanksgiving at the Royal Chapel on Friday, the Crown Princess family will travel by horse and carriage in a parade along Skeppsbron in Gamla Stan. On Saturday, Victoriadagen will be celebrated on Öland, where the gates are opened to the public at Sollidens castle.
