  • Food deliveries into your fridge
The smart lock company Glue, and food delivery company Mathem in Stockholm, have initiated a collaboration that allows the latter's customers to get food delivered all the way to the fridge — even when customers are not at home.

  • Glue's app-run accessories allow the door to unlock at a distance. The purpose of the new cooperation is to allow for deliveries between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. rather than wait for the customers to return home after work. Mathem's customers on Södermalm are first to receive the service offer. Then, if appreciated, it will be rolled out further.

  • Glue promotes itself as a digital concierge and is an app that gives 24/7 encrypted security to people so they don’t have to worry about losing their keys, being home to receive deliveries or granting access to guests. The Sweden based startup (covered in issue 12) allows you to open your doors through an app on your smart phone. It's the rise of online shopping and automated home deliveries that has created an opportunity to make life easier for busy urban people.
