  • Wedding bells for Skarsgård.
Congratulations to Stellan Skarsgård, 57, who just got married for the second time. His wife’s name is Megan Everett, 32, and she has been seen around Skarsgård since the premiere of the film “Arn Tempelriddaren” in 2007. The couple was married during a civil ceremony in Nacka. Megan Everett stems from Ireland and rumor has it that the couple is expecting their first child together. Skarsgård already has six children: Alexander, Gustaf, Sam, Bill, Eija, and Valter with his first wife, My, whom he divorced in 2007 after thirty-two years of marriage. Skarsgård can next be seen in the film “Angels and Demons,” a sequel of sorts to “The Da Vinci Code” (based on another novel by Dan Brown).

  • Victoria+Hugh Hefner=Not True.
She tried, though -- our bosomy blonde bombshell Victoria Silvstedt. When she was chosen as the Playmate of the Year in 1997, Victoria tried to become one of Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends. Hugh Hefner (founder of Playboy Enterprises) wasn’t interested. “I really tried,” Silvstedt said recently. “But he didn’t want me.” She got the Playmate of the Year title instead.

  • Getting in shape.
'Tis the season to get in shape. How boring! How hard! Or? Dagens Nyheter’s readers chatted with personal trainer Martin Johansson who gave some tips. One reader asks: “How do you get rid of love handles?” Johansson answers: “Try core training and Pilates, but remember you can’t spot-reduce so you must do strength training in combination with cardiovascular training. And make sure you eat healthy.” Johansson also recommends yoga, which he calls “super training,” for a trim figure. One reader says she’s about 5 pounds overweight and wants to look good come summer, but she can’t work out every day of the week. Johansson tells her: “Make sure you vary your training, try to get two strength training sessions and one cardiovascular session a week, then after two or three months you switch it around and do two sessions of cardio and one with strength. Cardiovascular activities include biking, swimming and running. An older man wonders how he can get his shape back after he quit smoking and gained some weight. “I’m over 77 years old and can’t do those quick walks anymore,” he writes. “How do I burn fat?” Johansson suggests exercising in water, water gymnastics or swimming and to combine it with strength training sessions.
