No Moslem holidays

  • No Moslem holidays
There will be no investigation to see how a Moslem holiday could be integrated in the Swedish calendar, as Carin Jämtin, Party Secretary for the Social Democratic Party, hoped. Says Minister of Justice Beatrice Ask (of the Moderate Party): “I think the holidays we have in Sweden now are good. I see no reason for an investigation.” Ask also explains that it costs between 4 to 6 billion SEK ($650,000,000 – 970,000,000) to introduce a new holiday in Sweden. “The government is not ready to introduce another holiday nor is it ready to change one we already have,” she concludes.
