Swedish-born New York based artist Siri Berg is exhibiting in New York and Knoxville, Tennessee in November. Berg, who was born in Stockholm, studied at the Institute of Art and Architecture at the University of Brussels, Belgium as well as at New York’s Pratt Graphic Center. In an interview a couple years ago, Berg said she feels at peace when she works. “I hope this calmness translates to the viewer.”

It certainly does. Berg’s pieces are orderly and minimalist, clean and calm. A trip to either of the upcoming exhibitions is worth the effort to see her internationally acclaimed work.
