  • Swedish actor Alexander Skarsgård claimed the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor on January 7. His performance as Perry Wright in HBO’s hit series “Big Little Lies” won him an Emmy in September, and now Skarsgård, who was born in Stockholm to acclaimed actor Stellan Skarsgård in 1976, adds the Golden Globes' Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role. • The series, adapted from a book by Liane Moriarty, took a total of four awards. HBO confirmed a return for a second seasons, though Skarsgård’s character seemed to have met his demise at the end of season one. “I don’t even know if I’m really dead or not. I feel okay right now but we’ll see,” the actor said as he remained ambiguous about whether he’ll return for the series’ second season.
