• Retired people in Sweden have been living on reduced pension payments for the past two years, but that will change now. According to Pensionsmyndigheten (the Swedish Pensions' Agency), an increase of 3.5% is expected already next year. For a retirement pensioner with SEK 12,000 ($1,880) a month in pension, that means SEK 420 ($65) extra.
