Female CEOs make less
Swedish female CEOs’ contracts increased three times as much as the male CEOs’, according to a report by UC, a Swedish business and credit information agency. -
“However, the women are still clearly overrepresented in the lower income bracket,” the UC writes in a press release. The meridian income for a male CEO was 505 400 SEK ($73,865) and for a female CEO 381 200 SEK ($55,719). In total Swedish CEOs taxed income increased by 1% between 2009 and 2010. They study included 80 000 CEOs in Swedish corporations.
