A restaurant in Sweden’s second city serves the best brunch in the world, according to Britain's The Mirror. In August 2015 the newspaper listed the top 10 hotel brunches, and the hip meal experience at Norda Bar & Grill in Gothenburg's stylish Clarion Hotel Post ranked number one in the world.

The hotel is in the restored old main post office at Drottningtorget 10, the restaurant run by celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson — his first restaurant in his hometown. The brunch, described by The Mirror as "a gothic and glamorous brunch" is served on Saturdays and Sundays in the early afternoon. It offers a luxurious buffet with a selection of cheeses and charcuterie, with a main course like steak or pancakes, and a wine list that emphasizes special selections from small wineries in Oregon. The dessert buffet is loaded with cakes and sweet treats by the award winning pastry chefs chosen by the prince and princess for their wedding on June 13.

Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, NV came in second place, in part for its more than 100 types of pastries. Two other American hotel restaurants ranked in the top 10: Number 8 is Marriott Marquis in New York and in ninth place is Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge in Orlando, FL.
