  • Prince Oscar was in New York with his mother, HRH Crown Princess Victoria, during the week of Sept 19-23 while she attended meetings with the UN General Assembly. Her schedule included an appearance at the Capsule Fashion Trade Show where several Swedish brands were represented, and she attended summits on the global refugee situation and the UN's sustainability goals, meetings with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Advocacy Group, for which she is an ambassador, and a meeting on urban food systems.
The Crown Princess enjoyed a reception hosted by Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven, who was there to launch Sweden’s Global Deal, which promotes social dialogue and better conditions in the international labor market. He remarked, "No country, no continent, no organization can handle this challenge alone. More countries have to take a greater share.”
