Mountain facilities open - new rules

All lodges in the Swedish mountains that have been closed for some time will open in June.

  • The Swedish Tourist Association (STF) plans to open the mountain facilities from mid-June. This year, however, the conditions for visitors are changing due to the corona crisis. Among other things, only a limited number of people who receive prepaid night accommodation will be received in the mountain cabins, to avoid congestion. Furthermore, the number of people who may be in the kitchen will be limited, and there will be more opportunities for hand washing. STF urges all those planning a mountain stay to find out all details before arrival.
